Blue Whale School is an established independent microschool located in central Ottawa for children ages 5.5 - 12. Our three small, collaborative classrooms provide enrichment learning, flexible part-time schedule options, and a wide range of programming opportunities through low teacher-child ratios.
At Blue Whale, our classrooms are more than just places to learn curriculum. They are vibrant communities where children build confidence, explore their passions, nourish relationships, and feel a true sense of belonging and connection.
Our goal is to see our children actually excited to come to school each day. And, we know we are succeeding when they leave at the end of every growth-filled day with the same happy, sparkly eyes that they arrived with.
